Does anyone have a wireless home media system? What's your set up?

I'm going to be moving soon, and I've been reading up on wireless media set ups. I'm interesting in solutions people here are using, and what people would recommend.

Apple TV. This isn’t the best though if you’re on android. Sonos have put out some decent speakers that work seamlessly together. It really on your op system.

You could use a shield it has a bunch of options available for you .You could also use it to stream free content

#7
Synology NAS that streams throughout the home.. if you are a bit more expereicned you could setup your own NAS/plex server.

It depends of what you want to do...
If you want only to stream stuff from your phone or laptop, a chromecast or a good smart TV is enough.
If you want to stream online services, apple TV or an android box.
If you want to save multimedia, a NAS or small PC with plex server like jborfshoff said. I've a HP micro server with big disks with my photos and videos and other downloaded content.

Also, I've a gigabit router with vpn to be "safe" from my isp. The TV has iptv support and can play content of plex direct from the network.
