For those who don't know Elden ring is a game form the creators of dark souls combined with the writer of game of thrones so deservedly it has a lot of hype. but after seeing the first gameplay trailer, especially the jump animation this game looks to be a disappointment so far in terms of gameplay.

It seems like they're sticking with a similar formula since it's worked in their past 5+ games. I think if you enjoy that style you're going to enjoy this rendition.
