Does anyone know what to expect from season 2? I find the first season to be okay. Ive heard that the books become worse after the first season though so im a bit worrried.

I think the show is horrible. The show will sometimes be overly colorful or overly gray and muddy, GoR as a main character is utterly dull and looks like a ridiculous cartoon character, the CG is horrible, and the comedy is really bad.

It's like they wanted to make a combination of Game of Thrones meets Lord of the Rings meets the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

I expect Season 2 to be just as bad or a complete tonal shift to clean up Season 1's mess.

Wow, that would actually have been a brilliant choice. He's too much of a ponce in the show but in the game he is much rougher and Mads would have been perfect for that.

Or even Tom Wlaschiha, who played Jaqen H'ghar in Game Of Thrones. Very similar look and vibe to the character, as well as skillset. But I think Jaqen has more honor than "The Witcher".

Man I didn't realize Mads was being considered and now I can't help being disappointed it didn't happen, Mads is great.

They need to turn it around. Honestly the first season was quite horrible. I just didn’t think the way they painted the narrative fit in any way shape or form.

My expectations is that it would suck, just like the first season.
