Mario and Zelda. Nintendo really dominates when it comes to this, which is well-demonstrated by these series not only having long-running games across MULTIPLE platforms but with consistent HIGH QUALITY that is represented by excellent critical reviews.

Halo was probably my favorite didn’t really play much till I got masterchief collection but after that it was a really enjoyable throughout the series.

Halo and metal gear are probably my all time favs. I suppose zelda as well but unlike the previous two i have not played every single game and really dont have any interest in playing the 2d ones.
