The sprint qualifying over a distance of 100km will determine the gp grid and give the top three championship point (1st 3 point, 2nd 2 point, 3rd 1 point). What do you think of this new format? I stopped watching F1 because the races last too long, a shorter but intense race could be interesting.

I’m a relatively new f1 fan so I really had no idea about sprint qualifying. From what I know now I’m glad that it’s only gonna be used for 3 qualies lol

Ya I agree kind of getting tired of seeing Hamilton on the podium too much maybe they should give Russell a chance against Hamilton

Don’t mind it just for something a bit different, but I doubt it’ll change anything. Nobodies gonna go for a dive bomb when you can only get a max of 3 points. Pointless for the midfield too
