Free Guy - Will it break the trend of bad video game movies?
#1
Now granted this isn't based off of an existing video game franchise, but it's got the distinction of trying to translate aspects of video gaming directly to the screen. I wasn't too impressed with the early previews and trailers, but their marketing has actually seemed to be a little more clever and I do feel like Ryan Reynolds is the kind of star you'd need for something like this.

Are you going to see it when it comes out?

The trailer looks fucking awful. Even after watching it, I don't think most people are going to associate it with videogames at all.

Everything with Ryan renolds såklart. With that said its not necassary good because it has said person in it. I dont think I will see it when it comes out. Perhaps when it has marinated for awhile. Perhaps not

I have no idea what "såklart" means, but I hope it means sucks, because Ryan Renolds is an overrated actor with an acting range the width of the average ant. I guess Hollywood keeps him around so they can promote movies whose goal is to do nothing but suck in all the wrong ways.

I hope so! It’s been rough with their efforts so far

I don’t think so, it looks pretty bad in the trailers and its one and only redeeming factor is the fact that Ryan Reynolds is in it. He’s great and all but you can’t help bad writing. It would be cool if it’s good so I can be proved wrong but I don’t have my hopes held too high.

I haven't seen it yet but I've heard it's actually pretty enjoyable
