Future Video Game Prices
#1
With the next gen consoles coming soon Take Two announced that they’re increasing the price of their games from $60-$70 because of the “resources used to upgrade the game.” After this, Ubisoft announced that they’re interested to do the same in the future. My question for you is should video game prices be increased?

I think games are getting very expensive, especially when you then consider add-on’s, season passes etc. It’s no longer a one off

#3
Ya I mean, the $60 is usually just the cost of entry. Playing the game usually requires a bit more cash.

#4
games have always been expensive

#5
I think PC Games should stay fairly stable, but console seems to be going up in price. It's weird how a steam game can be literally half the price as some console games.

#6
If a game has microtransactions, it's not really worth $60

#7
$60 is fair as it hasn’t gone up in a while

#8
the people support games w/ microtransactions, the more type of shyt like this we'll see.... why would you pay now $70 for a game that isn't a complete? DLC is a problem too, creators will cut out content and sell it off later.

For ps5 i think it’s confirmed $70. You have to take inconsideration that the disc are higher quality and now hold 100gb. This is for both consoles.
