Was recently talking to a friend that was half way through Game of Thrones (i.e. pre nose dive) and it got me wondering...are there any other shows which managed to alienate almost everyone in a single swoop?

Sopranos finale comes to mind but some people liked it, some didn't whereas I've yet to meet anyone that enjoyed the final season of GoT.

Haven't seen it but there was a show called Dexter that was apparently great up until the very last episode of their final, 8th season. At least with GoT we got a few episodes for it to slowly descend into shitness.
