So just finished it recently, the newest one that is, and as someone who hasn't even played the originals I have to say I loved it. Obviously I'm a bit behind the train here, since it came out a few years ago, but since the PS5 is coming out in the near future, and I can only hope a new God of War game will be coming with it, what do you guys think the general plot will be?

Obviously, spoilers ahead, for those of you who haven't beaten the game I recommend you do/watch someone do it.



So it's here, Ragnarok, and our wife's ashes are scattered, and we've completed our mission, but ultimately boned the whole 'written in stone' fate that had been already determined in the world, what do you guys think is next for our bois? We see the little tease with Thor at the end of the game, but rather than him be the main antagonist I feel like more than likely we'll end up teaming up with Thor, for the simple fact of stopping Ragnarok. I feel like Freya might somewhat ally with Odin, just to try and kill Kratos, and she'll end up being a somewhat primary antagonist with little whispers here and there from Odin, because I'm sure there will be another game after the next one and they'd want to save Odin as the final baddie for the trilogy.

Also, when you got to the world of the giants, who else went "Fucking O" when you saw all their corpses?

Nah, freya is not stupid, she will realise he did th best he could and she will prob help him out vs thor/odin.

I have only played the old God of War, but damn those are some good games. Need to get myself a console again

New God of War is a good direction for the series I would recommend to old and new fans
