I've been wanting to get started with a large book series but I don't really know where to start. I love fantasy novels so any recommendation in that vein would be very much appreciated. Though I'm down to read pretty much any genre at this point. Thank yall!

Although this is a childish recommendation, I've been thinking of grabbing a copy of Magic Tree House at some point. Besides that feeling of being left out on the entire plot after managing to finish a book, I've heard that it's good for training kids at reading. So at least you can pass on your copy to the future generation once you're done with it.

Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events. I think it's a 12 book series about a brother and sister who had to live with a distant relative because their parents died or something. I believe there is a movie that I watched as a kid. It is not really fantasy but the events in each book aren't really likely to happen irl.
