I was talking about the Harry Potter movies with my friends on our Discord and while I haven't read the books they both did. They seemed to agree that the movies were a "decent" adaptation of the books.
Which got me wondering what book to movie adaptations did you think pulled it off well and which ones were a bust?
I've read The Fault in our Stars and have seen the movie and personally loved both. The movie did very well in conveying the feelings the book tried to get across as well.

I Am Legend wasn't necessarily a bad movie, but it didn't really capture what the book was about. If you're a fan of the movie, I'd highly recommend reading the book, as it is far more interesting and unique than just another zombie movie.
