Any of the souldsborne series will be difficult. Most of the DLC bosses are even more ridiculous

COD MW2 or Halo 2 on the highest diffifulty. It's awful and you die in practically one shot.

I don’t care what games you out against them, the hardest games were the old NES and SNES games. 
Teenage Mutant a ninja Turtles, to this day is still one of the hardest games ever created.
If you could get past the first hover bike stage of battletoads, you have my respect. 
Even castlevania was a challenge
Ghouls and Goblins was damn near impossible.
Ninja Gaiden WAS impossible

No modern game has shit on these.
