I’m lucky enough that no one I know got the virus. I’m curious if any of you had to go through that terrible experience.

I have heard on the news and through rumors that people in my area tested positive. Personally do not know of anyone that does or know somebody that knows someone that tested positive.

My brother had it, 40 years old, he just said it felt like the Flu that he's gotten before. He was tested and verified to have it due to other co-workers contracting it. He said its overblown, a senior killer really. Look at Italy -the very vast majority are 80+ years old. A death of a senior, while unfortunate, is a reality in all life. I'd rather have a senior die then a child (who are under very unlikely to show symptoms or die from it) as that kills a generation off.

I do, one of his lungs had been destroyed by it and the doctors were surprised he survived, doing better now tho!

A friend I made back in the early 2000s online ended up catching it. Thankfully a recovery but holy crap that sucked to see.

Just took got the antibody test results back and I had it back in February (I assume, because that was the most recent time I was really, really sick). Had me under a pile of blankets next to a space heater for four days and a cough for a week or so but overall I had a pretty mild case

I do know that my friend's girlfriend tested positive and its highly suspected that her brother also got infected.

Had a friend contract it while he was in Portugal. But he had mild symptoms and recovered.
