Help with MEGA warning
#1
I received the ominous “Final Warning: Objectionable Content” email from MEGA. Apparently there was underage content I received from someone. I had no clue what content they were referring to and I didn’t mean to save that kind of content to my account. I’m concerned this might happen again. Thoughts?

I remember, i had this once and i couldn`t find a single file that matches the warning, so i thought, better delete every "file" for avoiding more trouble. 2 weeks later, i got an other mail that said it was a mistake, everything is fine, and the warning was an error...

Edit: I even found the message again:

Correction to your recent MEGA account warning

Recently Mega notified you and some other users that files imported into your account had been assessed as objectionable and were therefore removed from your account. This action was based on hashes of files identified as Child Sexual Abuse Material by overseas authorities.

Mega received complaints from several users, disputing that their account held any objectionable content. We then arranged for the files to be reviewed by New Zealand authorities and can now advise that the files are not considered objectionable.

Accordingly, we will reverse the action taken against your account. We apologise for any inconvenience.

Best regards,

— Team MEGA
