There should be an equal +/- when posting on a leak vs a discussion or posting a thread or something. Had to make a burner because I was too low contribution to view links. If I am able to pay with credits just let me view the link or don’t let me pay at all if I won’t be able to see the link. Posted on several threads on other account but no change and probably won’t be using it anymore

Anyway, I would recomend you to check the non-leaks forums to upgrade the contributor level

Agreed, the system seems really badly explained. You also lose contributor level for paying for links with credits, but it only mentions it for posting. I agree that some sort of warning, such as "you will lose x contributor level for this action", would be helpful, as well as some definite indication of how high the level needs to be to view content (given that that's ultimately why we're all here, quality conversation notwithstanding).
