What horror movies do you know that doesn't throw jumpscares at you every 5 minutes, but rather uses suspense and atmosphere to keep you at the edge of your seat?

I think it'd be really hard to mention horror films with NO jumpscares as it's just become par for the course. However, here are some which balance any use of jumpscares out with really good other elements:

Possum
Lake Mungo
Se7en
The Witch
Cube

while im sure theres some jumpscares in these, they are earned and do not rely on them:
the witch
the dark and the wicked
halloween (1978)
the lighthouse (debatebly horror)

the scariest movie with 0 jumpscares is

cats (2019)

but more seriously, there are some that are atmospherec horror with very little jump scares (if they are in the movie, they are all earned):
hereditary
the witch
the blair witch project (1999)
suspiria (2018)
the wailing

The Shining is my #1 favorite horror movie. It doesn't really have any jump scares, just very creepy at times.

Event Horizon is also a favorite of mine. It's been referred to as "The Shining in space".

The new Invisible Man movie is very tense but with very few jump scares

i would say oculus is a really good one, especially with the story and everything its great
