I'm sure they get recognized a lot more when they are at places that are about the adult industry. Otherwise like the previous poster said, probably just double takes. Similar to how a lot of movie directors that aren't incredibly famous don't get recognized in their day to day life.

I think quite a few porn actors do get recognized, but I also think that women can drastically alter their appearance quite easily.

Business wise, it's not what most people think... I suspect. For instance, the frozen pizza business in America is bigger than the American porn market.

The last five years though it's shift to cams and onlyfans. The societal impact seems bigger as we're in the last days of the Republic. Degeneracy is one of the signs that a nation/civilization is about to collapse.
