How to run faster

Hello! So recently I've been running/jogging more (country covid rules starting to relax) but I don't feel as fit as last time thanks to staying at home.
Just wanted to find out what training can I do to increase my speed/stamina for running mid-distance (about 5km?)

Doing the same at the moment. What help me ist just run more. With every run i get faster. What helps me is a sport watch, here i can see my speed and can easy try to increase it.

For other people the intervall method helps, you run fast for 1 or 2 mins and than walk for 1 min......

just keep going and try to do more distance , time or intensity just even a little bit every day.

honestly finding a running partner may help. running with someone else will help push you, especially if they have more experience than you.
