How was college for you?
#1
Just a small question from an incoming freshman. What were college like for you? Did you enjoy it? Was it worthwhile? etc. I just have some anxiety since I know it will be a big change of environment from highschool.

Still attending, but realizing what type of person you're becoming is always nice. Also not everyone’s permanent, so. appreciate those who stick around

Like the other guy said, finding out who you are is important.  People are also temporary-whoever is your friend this year might not be later.  My best advice in for friends is to force yourself to be extroverted.  Try to befriend every person you meet that you think could be cool with you.  Chances are, you will probably stop talking to the ones you didn’t click with and that’s fine.  College life will be so much easier the more people you know.  You could get free meals or answers depending on who you know.  Aside from that, be curious.  Be curious of how other people are doing and who they are, and be curious about your future and what you want to do.  4 years go by fast, and finding a job basically starts your junior year.  As a freshman, I would recommend that you join a lot of orgs, both social and professional and grind your first couple of years.  Pay now or pay later.  While everyone is worried about their future their senior year, your gpa could be high enough where you can go to the bars every night if you wanted to.  By then, you’ve had intern experience and a full time.  Life will feel set for you.  These are things I did or wish I did that set me up to do well when I was in college.  Make sure to balance work and fun though-you may only get 4 years barring no masters and doctorates!
