My first thought is to get a Tesla, if I can. Is that crazy? Is there another automaker who makes a superior product?

Notably, I'm looking for something that can go at least 200 miles on a charge -- preferably more -- and I'm particularly concerned about how I'm going to charge it.

I've got a Tesla and I absolutely love it. They'll be able to do 200 miles on problem, if you want more you can go with the long range option. There's really no competitor
