not sure if this would really change the amount of income collected...but this is the current proposal..

This really only affects those who are already under investigation... for now. The IRS is severely understaffed. They drop 4/5 of all calls, and no one can get help, to navigate. Thundereder9t8y is right, though, they want to spy on all of us, and control all of us. I don't think this will survive a court challenge, and they really don't have the manpower to enforce this. And if they can't balance a budget, how would the IRS be able to hire enough agents to enforce this?

I'm basing it on the fact that they haven't hired anyone new, nor have they increased their IT infrastructure to handle such information. When the IRS gets a budget increase/authorization for more investigative agents (as opposed to call center operators), then we'll all be under investigation.
