If UEFA kicks the seceding clubs out of their championships...
#1
With the switch of the 12 clubs to the Super League, UEFA has already declared that they would be banned from their respective championship.

Would this actually mean a more open Premier League, Liga and Serie A with an actual open chance of victory even for the smaller local clubs? Or ultimately the powerhouse-role will simply be taken by the newcomers (as in, Valencia or Sevilla in the Liga; AS Roma and Lazio in Serie A)?

I'd take UEFA's and FIFA's words with a pinch of salt. They'll ban players from competing in their competitions? Really? You're going to ban Messi and Ronaldo or Mbappe? ESL is a dumb move, I think everyones just angry at the minute and unleashing unrealistic responses

There are a lot of sides to this that will lose a lot of money if this goes through (UEFA, FIFA, English FA, etc.). I don't think they'll let it happen, I think there's just too much money to be lost. Not to mention, I don't think that big names like Messi and Ronaldo will appreciate their records basically being made irrelevant if the Super League were to ever take over.
