Intel has confirmed more special edition CPUs: the Marvel's Avengers Collector's Edition Processors. You would probably expect them to come bundled with the upcoming Marvel's Avengers game, given the timing, but you’d be wrong. The only links these chips appear to have with the franchise is their names and packaging.

Overseas companies were spotted selling Intel processors with Avengers packaging a few weeks ago. They're listed as “KA” models, with the “K” part identifying the unlocked multiplier, and the “A” presumably identifying them as an Avengers Edition. (techspot)

  • Intel Core i9 10900KA—€514.97 (~$609.96)
  • Intel Core i9 10850KA—€476.29 (~$564.14)
  • Intel Core i9 10700KA—€400.08 (~$473.88)
  • Intel Core i9 10600KA—€273.02 (~$323.38)

This seems a little strange tbh. Do these just have special packaging and nice graphics printed on them or something? It seems like it's just another "put your brand on everything" kind of thing, like with the newer Star Wars movies.

Haha from just the A, I thought intel was, for whatever reason, going to do a collab with agent's of shield and got super confused.

From it saying collector's edition packaging, is it literally just the box that is gonna be marvel-related?

I guess I want to price compare if they release the same set of cpu's with normal packaging.

...Please tell me it's not just the packaging that's special about it

How peculiar, interesting
