In case you're Patrick living under a rock and haven't seen the memes, "Invincible" is a brutal and spicy super hero series, something reminiscent from the golden age of comics, when censorship wasn't as prominent. Has several DC/Marvel lookalikes so it feels like a what-if universe at first, and shit gets real literally on the very first episode. The first season just wrapped up with 8 episodes, 45-min each, and it is beyond brilliant. It's on Amazon Prime.
If you need more convincing, JK Simmons (J. Jonah Jameson from the Tobey Maguire Spiderman saga, also Tenzin from Legend of Korra), Sandra Oh, and Seth Rogen are all in it and do a magnificent job.
If you do end up liking it, check out the comic. It wrapped up in 2018 so the whole story is out there for you to read!
