I've never watched enough shows to justify buying it myself, but I saw an ad for a Hulu subscription on sale for $1.99 a month (during BlackFriday) for a year. Figured I give it a try and bought it. It has pretty decent variety. If you don't want to pay the $9.99 for Netflix, Hulu is $5.99/mo and the ads don't show if you have adblocker on. The varieties are probably different from Netflix's, but it's worth a try for a lower price if you're uncertain about Netflix imo
In the covid age I would say it is definitely worth it since many film studios are looking at Netflix to be their distributor, but as things get back to normal that may change.
I absolutely think its worth the cheapest plan, but nothing more. It really depends on your how wide your content variety is. If its just you watching tjen yeah you could still make it worth while as new content comes through daily.
I think it is worth it if you are sharing with a few people and can split the cost or get something else out of it. I have an arrangement were I get access to a disney plus account and this relative gets access to my netflix. I know netflix is more expensive but it does save me paying disney plus and those unused netflix profiles dont do me any good just sitting there being unused.
It is definitely worth it for how cheap it is. It has a wide selection and the user interface is much easier to use than Hulu and other streaming networks.
If you compare netflix with prime and other streaming services, netflix gets the cake because of variety on movies, cartoons, and everything else. But netflix is not my person favorite, im a prime guy, but i respect netflix, its just not the right choice for me :/
