Anyone subscribing Tidal premium hifi streaming? They argue the sound quality is substantially better than Spotify. If that is really true, I might give it a shot..

the sound quality is really good but spotify has a bigger selection of stuff to listen to and a lot more features like connecting to discord

You need a good DAC and good pair of headphones too if you really want to tell the difference.
A pair of good headphones and spotify is more than enough i think.

I chuckle everytime I see the Tidal ads. Spotify is just too big to dethrone. Tidal's library is just nowhere as big for them to survive unfortunately.

naw spotify has 320kbit streaming... its more than enough if youre listening for yourself or your house... more is only necessary for DJing, big parties etc imo
