Gofile.io is a wonderful way to share files anonymously and without fear of losing a whole database if the file gets compromised, like with what can sometimes happen with mega.nz. I haven't seen anyone use it here yet but I'm new, so I was wondering if it was  an acceptable file sharing service or if mega is strictly preferred

Yes GoFile is allowed and quite a few people use it
