It's hard to judge now because the porn industry is already being hit hard by the current situation. If anything, I think onlyfans will force the porn industry to treat the girls better (better pay, better culture). so honestly it's win win.

Its doing well now with the lock downs and everything, which plays to its advantage but there is no telling what will happen post covid. Although I have to say that I like that there are less fake tits and other body parts in porn, it shows that "normal" people can be sexy too

I think it's bad overall imo. Good for the models, but for everything else, bad. You would go broke before you would get the same amount of variety compared to a porn studio.

So many pics and videos are badly shot, bad lighting, less than a minute video clips, no showing face (who the he'll gets off to a faceless woman? What are you like 12?) and no preview of what you're paying for.

it feels more like itll hit the amateur porn industry than the big pro stuff. amateurs can see that they can make actual money off it instead of the couple dollars they might get from uploading to a public website, so they'll start doing that unless they do it just for viewership. even then theres always those that will still make free stuff for fun

Bad for the consumer - potentially. If you want a wide range of content it could get quite expensive compared to the subscription cost of a site that has a board range of content.

My main issue is the fact that you dont know what u are getting into before subscribing most times. Its mot like manyvids or clips4sale where previews are available. Sometimes it can be extremely disappointing after subscribing. Especially when a lot of the content is PPV(pay per view), so there is an additional paywall on top of the subscription.

I don't know if it's bad for the porn industry, couldn't care less if it was tbh, but I know it isn't good for the consumer. OF didn't set a limit on how much people could charge until after that bella thorne fiasco and there's still no recourse for being double-charged besides going through your bank which usually ends in your account getting banned.
