Is it just me or is Microsoft getting awfully close to a gaming PC with the Xbox Series X? Both run Microsoft software, both have Game Pass, and they even let you run mods on Bethesda games on the Xbox. The performance of an Xbox Series X is as good as a decent gaming PC, too, so at what point will they try to bring the operating systems together? Is the PC/console divide even going to mean anything?

Basically, the consoles are nothing else than a pc - where the games etc are only rightly adapted.

a pc with a controller is basically just a console ;-)
