I have just joined and I am trying to figure out everything properly and I am gaining more information as I go.
I have a thread in pending that I would like to update so the formatting is better, is there an option to do this? or is there an option to cancel a pending thread that I am unaware of?.

Unfortunately due to abuse, this feature is not available.

What you can do is report a thread for deletion and do it over again
