Netflix has never made a adaptation that was good, they try to change this for creative ownership purposes but it always ruins the franchise, Death note for example. I don't think it will be any different with this series

Depends on the actual project. If it’s a live action remake of the series then most certainly yes. If it’s a continuation,  maybe a live action make of the comics, then we’ll have to wait and see. I have my doubts though, mainly because Avatar is so deeply rooted in it’s American/anime style that it makes it hard to believe that they’ll be able to recreate that magic without the use of cgi. Which would look rather shitty in comparison. But we’ll just have to wait and see.
