Learning web development skills like CSS
#1
Im trying to help family out with web editing but i cannot get my head around CSS. It is very confusing. Changing the value of an object can make it vanish or make the whole website a shambles.

Whats the best way to learn how to use CSS effectively to make websites more presentable and move general things around?

Start with the absolute basics, W3Schools is great for beginning HTML & CSS.

I'd say try W3Schools and freeCodeCamp, but the most important thing is that you should try a lot before succeeding. I've hit my head many times when trying to understand why some css wasn't working, it truly is frustrating at times.

Try understand the concept of flexbox and css grid.
