I saw Teosis' post about the chicken sandwich and have my own parallel question. Is a hotdog a sandwich? 

Per the definition: A sandwich is an item of food consisting of two pieces of bread with meat, cheese, or other filling between them, eaten as a light meal.

So a hotdog technically meets the definition.
