If you want violence in your action, Chainsaw Man is decent, it just finished recently. Otherwise, there's an interesting shonen called Lucifer and Biscuit Hammer.

Also heard Dorohedoro is good, not sure, I'm still on the anime atm.

Personally, if we're talking about old school violence type manga, Gantz is pretty good. The anime adaptation undersells it so much it's not fair, it stops basically just before the character development part starts.

Love Hina and Excel Saga were among the first manga I've ever read and would still highly recommend them. Great Teacher Onizuka was also one I was fond of.
