As I don't know nothing about phones I am asking for advice/and or recommendation as to what are good choices.
Looking for a good mid range phone.

Samsung Galaxy S20 FE. The best value for its price. You get a lot of the high end specs that compete with most flagships for a lower cost.
If that's still a bit pricey, Pixel 5 is also pretty decent. Otherwise if you're into Apple, the iPhone SE.

You should consider the Razer Phone 2. Cheap, effective as hell. It has downsides, you can decide if they bother you or not.
If you're willing to pay up a little bit, the Pixel 5 is the best phone <$1000 this year. It is better than the iPhone 12 Pro for $500 less.

I guess it just comes down to personal preference really, do some research and find a phone that suits your needs
