Am I only the only one that thinks the Mandolorian isnt as crash hot as everyone hypes it up to be? It wasnt bad by any means. But I think that we've generally gotten such shit SW content from Disney, that as soon as something isnt complete trash, everyone thinks its biblical.

Idk especially the end of s2 where they just tie luke back into it with Grogu. They really are incapable of straying away from the skywalker story lol. This seemed like a brand new story with a new set of characters but they cant help themselves by linking it back to existing stories etc. I do see how nolstalgia of old characters is fun, but i just think its really cheap and unoriginal a lot of the time. Guess we'll see with s3 how much they move away from the baby yoda story now.

I liked watching it a lot, but I agree. The first season was great because it was about new characters and showing a new side to the Star Wars galaxy. Season two was just about shoehorning in as many existing characters as possible. The galaxy has trillions of people in it, yet Mando can't go five minutes without bumping into someone we've seen before. I'll probably still watch the next season, but I won't get excited about it every week.

Yeah exactly, basically sums up my feelings atm "ill watch the next season, but i wont be super excited."

Its one of the more developed universes in film and they're still sticking to more or less the same stories in the same timeline with the same characters etc. Would love an old republic era story or something.

Dude the Mandalorian sucks. The pacing so slow and lumbering, the acting is TERRIBLE, the story is so predictable and paint-by-numbers. The action is impotent. And the fan service is so laughable. It looks pretty good tho.

Its what the mouse delivers nowadays. Mediocrity at best. Looks ok, Story meh, characters whatever.. 2 Seasons with a story for 1-2 (full) episodes. Not really interesting and lets not talk about that motherfucking 30min/episode format. Holy shit, that just makes me mad. But hey, the youth today watches this Disney BS as i its the holy grail, so whatcha gonna do....
