Memento

What are your thoughts about the movie Memento? Memento is a 2001 movie about Leonard Shelby(Brad Pitt) who suffers from amnesia and uses tattoos and notes to hunt for the man who killed his wife. You can watch it on Netflix. Its an amazing movie. At first you think Leonard has everything under control even though he has amnesia. But after some time you realise Leonard if very unreliable and pretty much every one can use him. I can really recommend you the movie if you haven't seen it.

IMO, Christopher Nolan’s greatest movie. Understated and not big special effects extravaganzas like his later movies, but one of the most effective stories he’s ever told

Agree with the above, with the exception of Dunkirk which is my personal fav. Still worth checking out though

Memento was probably the first movie I watched that had a huge twist at the end. It's definitely the type of movie that stays on your mind for a few days. There's a post on Reddit that gives a whole list of similar movies with twists. I should check them out.

This film is one of this one shot masterpiece from Nolan. More simple than the rest of his movies but a very smart one.

It's not Brad Pitt but

Great movie. I keep meaning to watch it again to see if I see things any differently knowing the twist now.

Second best behind Inception, a classic nonetheless, 2nd and 3rd viewing offer new things as well

Unique in its own way, never found anything quite like it. And for a movie, that's a pretty good thing to be.

A box office dud but a great study for film classes.
