Yes and no. It's viewership did spike recently because of PewDiePie and a few others but the game was never really gone in the first place. Taken into context I'd say yes it did make a comeback, especially when it managed to top Fortnite in viewership by like 40 billion views or something on Youtube. Fuckin won that place by a damn landslide in the Youtube 2019 rewind and I'm happy it did. As for the game making a comeback in a general sense though, I don't think it really did. This isn't to say that Minecraft isn't popular anymore, it's actually the opposite. It can't really make a comeback if it wasn't really dead or out of the loop anymore. Minecraft has been popular for so many years and it's the highest selling game currently.
