I was a military kid growing up so I definitely experienced the heart break of leaving friends constantly before the age of the internet. Ironically now all I can think about is leaving this shitty state I've ended up in. 

I used to regret moving all the time but I'm kind of glad that I did otherwise I would have ended up like the small minded closed in idiots I live around who think that the way they think is just how everyone else does. I remember a girl I worked with being racist in front of me thinking that I would just automatically agree with her.

Honestly, if anyone out there is afraid of a big change liek moving, don't be. It can really open your eyes and let you try and be better and happier

I moved for my OH to a totally different city, was worth it though as we're still together 11+ years.
