New Cards

So I've all seen the rumour of 3080ti etc but seriously, people are still struggling to get 3080 etc...and....at a normal price.

Makes you wonder how they aren't producing enough still and why the prices are still ridiculous.

From the news, there are some good signs that GPU prices will normalize (maybe in a number of months or in a year).
China shut down many crypto farms, so many 2nd-hand GPUs will be available, and also some prices have started falling in China , at least.
Some prices falling in Germany, Australia, and Russia. (Still 150% above MSRP)
Also ETH mining wil sort of "end" due to PoS, maybe by 2022. So demand should drop.
Also both AMD and Nvidia have ramped up production, so supply should improve.

We all just need to be patient.
For now, use internal GFX (ouch), or your old GPU.

I'm excited, but also sacred for next gens.

it may not completely normalize in a while, there is still the second issue that is a global chip shortage caused by huge demands in every other sector, not just by gpus

Need a new GPU so i really hope the prices go down

Ti doesn’t seem to be worth it, stick with the older cards. And be patient indeed
