I've been thinking of buying it for the Xbox X but I've heard a lot of bad comments regarding it. Is it really as bad as they say?

Own one. Its decent. Eventually, you would get a hang of it. Just follow your guts and play

I did buy battlefield 2042 since i am a massive battlefield fan.
However it is very bare bone on the content part. Also the balance is totally wrong. Get a hovercraft and you own the map.
I would wait for a sale and some updates before possibly getting it.
