Next phase of the MCU
#1
Without the original Avengers to anchor the MCU, do you think the next round of the MCU will be as successful? There seem to be many new properties being introduced that are less mainstream than those of the previous phases.

I know I was worried that ant man and guardians wouldn't make as much sense, yet they filled in nicely. But they also had the benefit of being sandwiched between major releases with Captain America and the Avengers. Will the next series of releases do as well? Which projects do you think people should be most excited for?

Not sure what they can do without the core cast anymore.  Dr.Strange, Guardians of the galaxy/Thor, spiderman, the X-men, and maybe FF  seem to be the best bets in my eyes.

I'm hopeful they can figure it out. They're fun movies alone, but the full arc kept me interested. Without something like that to pull me through, my interest will dip

I think it's a bit different what they've done in the past and what they're trying to do in the future... When they started, they needed to kickstart the universe, so the pressure was really high. But the stories were a lot more grounded. Now they're trying to go for the more cosmic side (which I love), but I don't know if it'll do as well as phase one. The first avengers is still one of my favorites. But I love Ragnarok too. I believe it'll be a lot of fun. Even with all the delays.

im curious to see how they wrap everything up with doom

I can imagine marvel doing stuff revolving around side characters like they kinda did back with Spiderman homecoming. They'll slowly blood in new characters like how they did with Spiderman like introduce them with the remaining cast get the viewers used to them and give them larger roles

I feel like it’s gonna suck tbh

I am going to struggle to get back into the MCU next phase I can tell
