Ok so I currently run a strix 970 and I am thinking of upgrading to either a strix 1080 ti 2080 ti or wait for the 3080 ti? Any Help would be appreciated.

If you want it now dont go for a 1080ti the 2080ti is more future proof but definitely wait for the 3xxx series
