Has there been any news on what's going on with the 2020 Olympics? I'd imagine they're not being rescheduled due to how much money was probably invested, but I wonder if there's a date in sight for hosting it. It would be pretty awful for all the athletes that prepared if it was just canceled entirely.

Well most major sports league are playing anyways - just under precaution. The challenge w/ the olympics is that so many nations have to travel compared to 1/2 teams. Early speculations have suggested 2022

Honestly, I could probably see them skipping the Olympics all together. I guess you could try again next year, but there's really no way to know how long COVID will be a threat for.

currently the 2020 olympics will start exactly 1 year later than originally planned in july 2021 however this is subject to change
