Is the straw hats crew power level increasing too fast? I mean luffy cpuld barely bwat doflamingo 2v1 and now it looks like he's gonna bear kaido.

They're only really getting power level boosts after significant time skips or from some external help (such as Zeus). So it's not that unreasonable how strong they've gotten. We're also approaching the end of the manga so they need to be able to approach yonko levels by now

I think they're doing fine, but they had to add some crazy new form of haki, or whatever the new "hyuga palms wannabe power" is. Luffy was literally knocking kaido around like a pinball in their first scuffle. theoretically luffy was already stronger than both big mom and Kaido when he fought them both 1v1. But they both destroyed him with this unknown powerup. It's kinda annoying however i did like the rayleigh flashback with this power kinda filling in an old "gap". anyway the animation has gotten superb and so has the storyline so w/e.

Also we're almost 1000 episodes in, i don't think the one piece pirates being near the top of the food chain is too crazy.
