Point when you finally gave up on a show?
#1
Quite a few shows have good and bad seasons, but at what point did you finally just give up on a show because it had gone so far downhill?

When the show becomes more of a chore than enjoyable to watch

Game of thrones was awesome till the last season came. wished i had not watched the entire series if the last one was like that.

Walking dead. I stopped watching during the negan war. They got rid of too many interesting characters, and tried to replace with uninteresting fodder. Show became a chore

End of season 7 of Dexter. Told myself at the end of season 6 I done with the show because the writing in season 6 fell off a cliff. When the first episode of season 7 priemered, their was buzz online that writing was good again. I watched the new episode, and it felt like the writing from the earlier seasons. But the rest of season 7 had major ups and downs. Technically better than season 6, but season 6 was so bad there was no where to go but up. I was so annoyed by the show at the end of season 7 vowed to truely quite. From the jokes I've heard about season 8, I made the correct decision.

Dexter but much earlier than season 6

@Tbag1985 Same! I just couldn’t continue watching after Carl died

Towards the end of episode 1 of the new Netflix series Lupin I was like ok man, that's enough lol. When the guys stole the necklace out of the Louvre the driver lost control of the getaway car and they crashed right back in to the museum.

I remember watching the walking dead and at one point, I realized it's the same thing happening over and over again. Move to a new place to be safe, drama happens, and walkers only are dangerous for plot.
