The last game I pre ordered was BF2 and the reason I did was because I had a friend hyping me up telling me they wouldn't do the DLC shit they did in BF1. Of course, they ended up doing different type of shenanigans but I digress. Ever since then, I learned to never pre order a game and wait until proper non-biased reviews prop up. What has your experience with pre ordering games been and do you still pre order?

I used to actually preorder when you got collectibles and cool stuff, now it’s all just dlc that should already be apart of the game and the big deal abou that happened like 4/5 years ago, now they’re pretty much dead. I think if they gave out collectibles and stuff like that again they would sell more

There is not sufficient incentive to preorder considering that games are now getting delayed by months at a time and status updates concerning the release date aren't given.
