Okay, this anime was amazing. S1 was great, what the hell happened to S2? I disliked it so much I didn't/couldn't finish it.

I finished both seasons.

I didn't think the second season was as bad as everyone was saying, but the final episode just ruined the whole season for me. They do some heartfelt goodbye which looks like it's leading into a potential season 3, then 2 minutes later in the episode they've time skipped, met up again and everything is magically wrapped up. They basically just skip tons of content as if they couldn't be bothered anymore.
