This is something I always pondered upon. Why is it that when porn is held on a pedestal in some way it makes us want it more?

For example, a girl might not even be that hot compared to other "real" pornstars, but because this girl usually doesn't post nudes, doesn't do hardcore, might only use "fake" dicks etc, it make us want her more.

Their are so many girls who are just as hot on major porn sites where we can watch top quality hardcore porn, including anal and any other fetishes you may like, all for free!
But instead we like the "hunt" for hard to get porn where these broads tease guys with stuff like onlyfans, premium vids, premium snaps etc...

What are your guys' thoughts?

Some people are into the tease which is what some of those OF creators really excel with. Like progressively doing more naughty stuff that followers have requested.
Gwen Gwiz is a good example, even though apparently she was a cam girl prior to her YouTube stuff. I feel like a bunch of people lost interest in her once she started doing hardcore shit including myself.

Also, a lot of amateur stuff feels more natural and less fake which offers something different to high production porn which is mostly completely artificial.

That's an excellent observation, SeepOI. For the softer side of the softcore audience, there's a lot of appeal that 'real pornstars' can't easily contend with because they're expected to do something hardcore. And even for those of us who are into intense intercourse, it can be nice to take a break and some of these girls are much hotter than the average pornstar. And if you like using your imagination, it's pretty easy to superimpose them on your favorite types of porn scenes.

You do make a good point though- the fact that the content is teased and put just out of reach can get you interested in something you would usually ignore. There is often a powerful, possibly subconscious desire for women who don't easily 'put out'. Also, the fact that you have to use your imagination for the nudes and sexual content is behind the paywall tends to heighten your expectations. Any time a model happens to meet or surpass those expectations, it reinforces the behavior and makes other 'fans only' models even more tantalizing.

I’ve thought about it too. Even though I am really into onlyfans and premium content I am not interested in the tease. I’m more interested in the attractiveness of the person. I can jerk to Instagram or cam girls as long as they are attractive. I personally find most pornstars unattractive but there are some I like. I feel like onlyfans and Instagram models are more attractive but I’m not sure anyone else holds that sentiment.

Another reason people might be into onlyfans is the premium aspect. Studies show people believe something has better quality if it’s more expensive. I personally don’t pay for any porn but I do feel it is better than free porn.

There also might be some dislike of hardcore porn. I don’t like “industrial” porn. I think it’s too aggressive and forced. Maybe people want to see girls getting railed my a monster cock. Those are just my thoughts though

i think alot of premium whores have more of a natural everyday factor, or maybe an indie factor. Most of them are prettier and younger. Its like the democratization of the rise of sugar daddy culture in uni girls.

It's probably due to the fact that when you want something and you can't get it you start wanting it more.
So let's say you saw this OF girl online you thought she was hot and wanted to see some more.
Perhaps not hotter than some top viewed amateurs on other websites but you still wanted to see that stuff so then you searched it up and found that it was rare.
Meaning her content would fall in a category where only those who pay for it get it and then you want it for free so you spend some time trying to get it.
It may not be that good of a porn but it hit a nerve making you want it more and more despite not being "that desirable' compared to free shit.
But this usually ends after you get it so you go ahead you see a different girl and now are after her.
That's kind of how i think it works kinda.
