Credits are earned by Posting Threads. Each Thread earns 3 Credits.

Making replies or posts used to give credits but that has been removed in the rework of the system.

Is reply same as post? or is post same as thread? I'm guessing there's some delay between posting a thread (I made a thread in introduction forum) and actually getting the points, so I'm not sure if I did anything wrong, or it just takes few minutes.

A reply is a post.

A Thread is a topic you start. Just like this one. My reply and your subsequent reply are posts.
